He wanted to see how fast I can type so I put these words on the screen.
Does he see how fast I type with my fingers on the home row? I don’t even need to see where the letters are. I just need to make sure that they end up on the screen properly. Some of the the letters I type are incorrect, but I know how to fix them. I am not perfect, but I am faster than him — ha.
You are seeing how a new writer is trying to balance this writing thing during COVID. It isn’t the same as my kids running into my Zoom calls, but it’s related. FYI, I finally found Common Sense Media and their list of typing programs and went with Typing Club. (Also, if it wasn’t clear, I’ve never received gifts from any companies. I’m just a real person sharing my real experiences.)
