Just Do the Work
I gotta keep telling myself
Got my music, got my drink, got my plan, but I’m pausing. Why? I really want to code. I really want to keep improving this new skill but for some reason I’m writing instead. Is this struggle interesting for me to even write down? If I say it “out loud” will it help me realize how silly I’m sounding and will get focus and finish.
Oh I love starting things. It’s a great feeling to begin. Is it anticipation? Potential? How can I capture that? Can I gamify it for myself? How can the addictive parts of seeing thumbs or hearts or claps propel me to do the work that I honestly want to do. Let’s see…
